GenCode app for iPhone and iPad

A reference app that requires no internet connection.
This app was designed to help students and professionals a quick access to codon information. It is perfect for any student learning Bioinformatics/ Genetics.

The initial view is the genetic code table.

Clicking the "Codon Picker" opens a secondary view that gives a wheel to scroll through the 64 different codons.

Each codon is presented with its:
full name
3-letter abbreviation
1-letter abbreviation
chemical properties (acidic, basic, polar, non polar)
diagram of side chain
